Fire stopping is the installation of specific firestop building materials to compartmentalize a building or structure. Correct installation of materials, per UL rated systems, are used to resist and stop the spread of fire, smoke, gases and their byproducts through openings made to accommodate penetrations in fire-rated walls, floors or edge of slab (curtain wall) assemblies.

Quality Assurance Program

Forsey’s takes great pride in providing our clients with the assurance that their firestop system will perform as designed.

All Forsey Firestop installers are required to keep daily records of progress, penetrations requiring extraordinary attention and chart our in-house field inspection reports which are performed weekly on all projects.

Labeling Policy

Forsey Construction, Inc. labeling policy assures quick reference to verify code compliance. Our labels enable anyone to identify the product used should a repair be needed. This also is a major tool for our in house quality assurance program.

Our firestop installers are required to fill out this adhesive label and install adjacent to the completed penetration.
